The Scholarship Committee generally meets twice a year to select recipients. Courses applied for can occur at any time, within the "Eligibility Requirements" listed above. Some courses require a considerable amount of pre-planning, and applicants should keep that in mind, as well as when the Scholarship Committee meets, when creating their Proposal.
Fall Semester (16 Weeks) – Courses Occurring Late October through February

By the 11th week, recipients must accept or decline awards, awards that are not accepted within two weeks of announcement may be re-allocated. Payments may be issued any time after the 9th week upon acceptance by the applicant.
Spring Semester (16 Weeks) – Courses Occurring March through September
By the 13th week of fall semester (mid-November), the Scholarship Committee will inform the Executive Committee about any funds remaining for the school year.
