THANK YOU for considering donating to the University of Cincinnati Mountaineering Club Steve Must Memorial Scholarship
UCMC has been introducing students to the wonders of the outdoors since 1971. Over the years, UCMC has taught countless people how to rock climb, canoe, cave, kayak, backpack, raft, and mountaineer. However, because we are run by students, for students, we are limited on resources to expand upon the basic training we currently provide to our members.
The Steve Must Memorial Scholarship attempts to bridge that gap by subsidizing an undergraduate's costs to take a much more detailed and intensive training in some area of outdoor activity or leadership. Afterwards, the student is obligated to bring that knowledge back and share it with the entire membership. Check out the Charter for details.
UCMC has set up a scholarship program through the UC Foundation. UC Foundation solicits and collects tax deductible contributions to UC and its many organizations and programs. Any contributor can specify their donation goes directly to the UCMC and our scholarship.
